Busy Weekend

Friday night grandma and grandpa came to visit Elijah and he was happy to see them.

Grandpa and Elijah had some time to catch up...



As you heard at the end of the video, Elijah is TALL! He had his two-month check-up on Friday and was 24.5" tall and weighs 13.5 lbs! According to the averages for other babies his age, he is a tall baby (92% for height)! He must get the tall genes from his mommy:)

Saturday morning we headed to Great Grandpa Barge's house in Shelton and the whole family piled into grandma's and grandpa's Yukon: Mommy, daddy, Elijah, grandma, grandpa, cousin, Auntie Debbie and Uncle Jeff. (The only one who didn't get to go was Havana...poor Havana.)

Great Grandpa Barge has lots of fruit trees and since everyone else was out picking fruit, Elijah wanted to go too.

But was a little fussy when G.Gpa was holding him...

After our visit, we went back to Cousin's house and had dinner. Cousin Antonio is such a big boy and is so smart... when he reached for Elijah, his mommy told him "gentle" and Antonio softly touched Elijah's hand. It was the cutest thing, but of course we didn't catch it on camera.

Next week, Elijah's Great Grandma Baza is going to be in O.H., along with some other relatives we haven't seen in a long time.
