Yesterday was a big day for Elijah. He had his first big boy swimming lesson at the local Y, and while the locker room was super scary (the screaming girls, tons of people, the hard spray of the showers), the swimming was pretty cool! We learned lots of songs and games and splashed a lot. (And got splashed a lot by the girl who looked like she was 10 that was next to us.) Pictures are being developed and will be posted this weekend! (Underwater camera has to be sent to the store.)
Just before we left for swimming, Cousin Antonio and Nina came over! Nina had a meeting, so Cousin came to sleep over at our house. It was exciting, but we didn't get much time to play b/c we were rushing off to swimming. When we got home though, it was all kinds of fun. Antonio loves his cousin and shows his love by smacking him (love taps, really). So dada kept him at a safe distance...

Today Elijah and Antonio got some good playing time in... there were several assaults, but all out of love. (I think in this one Elijah was saying "Payback's a bitch, cousin!")
There were also a few moments of peaceful coexistance.
