It was a rainy day, of course...
but he didn't mind
We tried to get him to turn around for a pic in front of the school, but this is all he'd give us...
He was almost "Jonathan" today...
but dada helped him figure it out...
He found a spot on the carpet, but apparently Ms. Ruthie didn't like it, so she told him to move. Already in trouble.
Ms. Ruthie's class wears slippers inside the classroom, and grandma and grandpa got him some with Mickey Mouse, which he loved so much that he wouldn't leave them there when he left.
One last look and he was on his own...
When we got there to pick him up, he was riding a trike around the path with about 4 or 5 other kids. The other kids were pedaling around him, some were crashing into each other. But little Elijah just stayed to the side.
When he got in the car, he told us that he played in the sandbox and some other boy was dumping sand in his shoes. I said, "That's not nice. Did you tell him not to?" He said, "Yes, I did tell him not to, and Ms. Ruthie told him not to, too." Then he took his shoes off and dumped the sand. All in all, a little sand in the shoes...not a bad first day.
