Elijah decided he wanted to go up to O.H. on Thursday afternoon to visit with some relatives from out of town. Luckily for us, Elijah seems to enjoy sleeping in the car...much like his mommy, once he's strapped in, his eyes get very heavy and he falls asleep for the whole ride. Not much fun for daddy driving two sleeping passengers around.
Wednesday afternoon, the doc sliced and diced my baby's bits, so diaper changes have been more challenging than usual. And despite all the helpers around here at grandma & grandpa's house, no one is willing to touch his sore little parts, so diaper changes are all on mommy. Daddy's definitely not up for the job... something about the cutting of the twig & berries disturbs Steven...
Elijah met his second cousins Brandon, Angela and Nathan, who he will likely refer to as uncles and auntie. They are all in town for their dad's birthday, July 5th. Aunt Dorothy (my mom's sister) and her husband Bob are in town for a visit too. He also met all the usual characters--Uncle Alvin, Aunt Susan, Grandma Jo & Grandpa Stan, Loretta & Wes.
