A Busy Day

Elijah's Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit last night, and today we had a busy day. First, Elijah had to get a flu booster shot. Shots suck. The elevator ride up to see the doc wasn't so bad though!

...And taking his pants off, not so bad... (and scratching the paper to hear the sound it makes, not so bad)

We also went to Costco to buy Elijah a new rug so that when he's ready he has something softer than hardwoods to crawl on. It was a busy day and we spent a lot of time in the car.

At the end of the day, Elijah had a little time with his toys on the new rug...

I had stretched my leg out as I was filming him, so luckily his little melon landed on my ankle, and not on the ground. Although maybe his new rug would have made for a soft landing too?

Elijah's been doing a lot of work on the pre-crawl.

This next photo is of him practicing his kung-fu and magic spells all at once.

Sometimes Elijah looks out across the sea of toys in front of him and can't figure out what to play with...

Lately, he's been deciding to play with the toy God gave him.
