A Long Weekend

We went up to O.H. on Thursday night and just got home last night. It was nice to spend time with family, and Elijah got to play with Grandma and Grandpa.

Elijah woke Grandma and Grandpa up on Friday morning because he wanted to play with them. He told them all about what's been going on in his life...

Elijah is teething...lots of drool, lots of biting on his fingers and anything else that fits in his mouth. He's also been a bit cranky and doesn't sleep well. He's sportin' the onesie from Uncle Benny, which was soaked in drool soon after we put him in it.

Elijah has a lot to say these days. He wakes up early in the morning and we hear him talking to himself (or his angels?). Lots of "bubbbbubbb" and "gagga" and "owwa".

Even though the season is over, Elijah wanted to show his support for daddy's favorite baseball team.

Up until Elijah was about 2 months old, he peed on us almost every time we changed him. Then he stopped. But for some reason, he decided to pee on us (and himself) three times at Grandma and Grandpa's house. So, despite his protests, he had to have a bath. Grandma and Grandpa witnessed his dislike of bath time first hand...a real change from bath time with Antonio. Cousin LOVES bath time! Maybe someday Elijah will learn to enjoy it? I hope...

Other than the teething, Elijah had a great time at Grandma's and Grandpa's house, and especially liked spending so much time with his daddy.

And today he is happy to be home, and is napping in his swing.
