Speaking of football, Elijah showed his support for his mommy's alma mater.
Bundled up to go out for a walk...
This is his chocolate lab rattle (which we call Copper)...
We're still working on nap time, but every day gets a little easier. There seems to be less crying and more whining, which seems like progress. Maybe one day he'll just quietly go to sleep? (I'm not holding my breath.)
And the exciting news of the past couple weeks is that Elijah has learned to roll over! We haven't caught it on tape yet, but we'll keep trying. I read somewhere that babies usually learn to roll from front to back first, but Elijah decided to learn back to front first. He gets himself over onto his stomach and is excited at first, but then quickly realizes, "hey, I don't really like being on my stomach..."
Stay tuned for Halloween pictures!

OMG! Hahaha! I love the pics of Elijah!!! ... and the videos are actually pretty comical themselves. I have to say, I saw a striking resemblance in Elijah's new hair style to Bill Murray's character in Kingpin ... Ernie McCracken. Remember, the stray strands of hair, branching from the side of his head into some sort of twisted and ever-reaching antenna! Haha! It works much better on Elijah, as it's more contained.
The little sports outfit is cute too. I want one, perhaps in pink ... kidding.
Antonio wanted to say that it is a cousin thing to roll from back to belly first...these boys are just too cool to do it the other way first.
