1. Sitting up on his own: He had been able to do situps if we held his legs for the past couple months, but in the past week he has learned to lean and manuever himself from laying on his back to sitting up all by himself... and he's quick!
2. Creating new words: Elijah has been babbling for a while now, of course, but in the past week he has started to combine different sounds while babbling. Instead of Gagagagagagaga and lalalalala, it's galalagabadadada. He's so smart. Sorry I haven't got this on tape yet... He's also been really into his monster talk, which we'll also try to get on tape. When you hear it, you'll understand what we mean by monster talk...
3. Turning all around: He's learned to balance and turn in the past week or so and is doing it pretty quickly now.
4. Pinching: Toast, Puffs, and mommy. They say this "pincer" grasp happens around this time, and Elijah has been working on it every day and is getting pretty good at it!
Elijah has also been getting closer and closer to crawling...
It's been a good week and we're looking forward to a visit from Grandma and Grandpa this weekend so mommy & daddy can go work events.

omg! he's such a strong little guy! It's so funny to watch him twist and turn around. Hahaha! ... ahh, i can't wait to see him again. It's funny watching him try so hard to move, you can see his little body trying so hard to muster up the muscle and will. Haha! He's adorable. I miss him :)
